Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)

As daughters of God, inspired by scripture and informed heritage and history, we believe that God calls us to be an intentionally inclusive community, empowering all Disciples women to be full partners in the life of the church.

We intend to be an organization where every woman is valued, nurtured and encouraged to use her gifts for the whole body of Christ, one that ministers to, with, for and by all women, and one that is anti-racist and pro-reconciling.

Welcome to ALL WOMEN

Disciples Women encourages all women to serve God's mission in our congregations, our communities and our world. If you would like more information, please visit the Disciples Women website, or contact the Office of Disciples Women, 1-888-346-2631.

Through the Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF), the women of Central Christian Church are actively involved in several ministries: providing food/meals to congregational members during their time of grief, writing cards to members unable to attend church, raising money for local and global missions, and hosting the annual Jubilee Christmas event. The women of Central are also involved in the life of the church in general - serving on the board, serving as deacons, elders, worship leaders, delivering meals for the Backpack Food for Kids program, helping with various work day projects...and many others! Ladies, we hope you'll join us as we continue to make an impact, not only within the walls of our church, but in our community and around the world!

The Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF) typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise announced. Meetings are canceled until further notice! The Ladies' Tea has been canceled for this year.

Despite the pandemic and the not holding meetings, the CWF has remained active in our church and community! Along with our partner church, Beulah AME, we still 'hosted' several families for Jubilee Christmas - even though the Jubilee Christmas event was held at a single location. Thanks to support from our congregations, Central & Beulah provided Christmas gifts to 10 children in our community!
